Beautiful British Columbia. The moniker that adorns the license plates from Canada’s most western province. It was my first time visiting BC, and although I merely dipped a toe in the water, I was not disappointed.
The crystal clear green water that defines this glacial lake, will seduce your retina. Try not to fall in love with Emerald Lake, I dare you.
As enjoyed my daily caffeine, I scouted some compositions. A feeling of anxious excitement started building from my new found romance. The wind’s breath was dying in the late afternoon sun! It could be felt, the conditions slowly developing into something special, anticipating the arrival of my lens. Finally the time had come, the sun began it’s daily retreat, taking the final breath of wind with it. A familiar adrenaline rush hit, hard wired to the natural beauty laid out before you, an experience that can otherwise be unmatched. The true magic of Emerald Lake was upon me, in that moment I depressed the shutter, capturing the moment of a lifetime.
